A II Semana Municipal da Educação está a decorrer no concelho da Ribeira Brava, uma actividade promovida pela Câmara Municipal em parceria com a Delegação do Ministério da Educação e Desporto (MED) sob o lema “Educação, Compromisso e Transformação”.


Desde segunda-feira, 21 e até sábado 26, várias são as actividades que fazem a agenda da II Semana Municipal da Educação que tem como objectivo mostrar a importância que a educação tem para qualquer sociedade e em Ribeira Brava não podia ser diferente, e isso traduz-se na motivação das estruturas educacionais e seus actores a terem melhores resultados, cultivando deste modo a excelência na educação neste concelho.
No caso concreto estão a ser realizadas em várias escolas do concelho assim como serão realizadas palestras sobre a educação em várias vertentes.
Entre outras actividades será entregue a gestão do Lar de Estudantes para gestão directa da Ficase bem como serão distinguidos os três melhores alunos do 12º ano da Escola Secundária Baltasar Lopes da Silva.
A II Semana Municipal da Educação será oportunidade para se firmar protocolos com a Delegação do MED, bem como de estudar novas formas de cooperação entre a edilidade e essa instituição educacional.
