Ribeira Brava - 24 de Agosto. A Vila da Ribeira Brava completa, a 30 do corrente mês de Agosto, a bonita idade de 279 anos. Como Património Nacional que é, a Vila da Ribeira Brava merece uma atenção e carinho especial.

A Câmara Municipal tudo tem feito, junto com a população, para que a sede do Município seja uma urbe alegre, limpa, ordenada e acolhedora. No quadro dos 279 anos da Vila da Ribeira Brava, a Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava decidiu realizar um encontro de arquitectos, nos dias 29 e 30 de Agosto, com o propósito de se discutir as formas de preservação desse património nacional, com destaque para a preservação da sua traça arquitectónica, as normas a observar na elaboração de projectos de arquitectura e construção civil, sem por em causa o desenvolvimento que se quer da própria Vila.
