Ribeira Brava, 18 Out.  – A localidade da Juncalinho na  ilha de São Nicolau está novamente isolada na decorrência das chuvas dos últimos dias que provocaram o corte da estrada que dá acesso àquela zona.  A semelhança daquilo que acontecera em Setembro, as chuvas do último fim-de-semana provocaram um corte no troço de estrada entre Juncalinho e Morro Brás, impedindo as viaturas do primeiro povoado de se deslocarem à Ribeira Brava. estrada_juncalinho.jpg

Conforme os dados pluviométricos a que a Inforpress teve acesso, as precipitações da noite de sábado, 16, e da manhã de domingo, 17, atingiram os cem milímetros na localidade de Juncalinho. Nas outras localidades do município da Ribeira Brava, as precipitações foram entretanto mais expressivas, com Fabateira a registar 168mm, Covoada, 157,5mm e Queimadas, 120mm. Na zona de Ribeira de Pulga, pelos lados de Chã Norte, o pluviómetro local registou 80mm. Segundo apurou a Inforpress, com as precipitações do último fim-de-semana, as terras de cultura em quase toda a ilha de São Nicolau molharam-se para garantir a produção de milho e feijões, desde que não se venha a registar a lestada, vento quente e seco de Leste, “inimigo” das plantações.
