Semana da Presidência Aberta sobre a Água

Ribeira Brava, 30 Nov - A Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava adoptou, na sua primeira reunião do ano 2010, o lema “Ano 2010 com mais água e melhor qualidade de vida no Município”. Tendo em conta as dificuldades que o Município tivera tido, num passado recente, relativamente ao abastecimento de água às populações, principalmente na sede do Município, hoje podemos considerar que nos dois anos e meio de mandato, a edilidade vem fazendo um grande trabalho no domínio da água, particularmente no corrente ano 2010.

Assim sendo, faz jus a declaração do ano 2010 como o ano com mais água e melhor qualidade de vida no Município. Contudo, ainda falta muito por fazer, pela ambição relativamente ao Plano Municipal da Água, projectado até 2012.
Um Grande passo já foi dado com o lançamento da primeira pedra para a instalação da unidade de dessalinização de água, com capacidade para produção de 1200m3/dia, com previsão para que em Junho de 2011, água dessalinizada seja uma realidade no Município.
De forma a incentivar esse compromisso, durante a semana, de 22 a 27 de Novembro, a Câmara Municipal cumpriu a seguinte Agenda, declarando-a como a Semana da Presidência Aberta sobre a Água:
22/11 – Visita ao reservatório de 1000 toneladas em construção na localidade de preguiça.
23/11 – Inauguração do reservatório de 50 toneladas de água na localidade de Água das Patas.
24/11 – Reunião do conselho municipal de água.
25/11 – Inauguração da ligação de água a 100 casas no Vale da Fajã.
26/11 – Inauguração da ligação de água domiciliária em Campinho.
