Ribeira Brava, 10 de Fev. - A actual equipa camarária, presidida por Américo Nascimento conseguiu, num período de 06 meses, pôr a funcionar uma rádio comunitária, de gestão independente, com grande sucesso na ilha de S. Nicolau e na diáspora, tendo em conta que está ligada á internet 24 horas por dia e acessível através do site www.rcrb-online.com

Agora um desafio maior estará prestes a concretizar-se. Com o apoio do Ministério do Trabalho, Família e Solidariedade Social, uma equipa de três jovens está a receber formação na Televisão de Cabo Verde em S. Vicente, para se constituir o núcleo da vertente televisão. O propósito da Câmara Municipal é a constituição da primeira Radiotelevisão comunitária em Cabo Verde, ainda no decorrer do primeiro semestre do corrente ano. Deste modo S. Nicolau estará mais presente a nível nacional, através das notícias que serão veiculadas nos canais de  televisão nacional e mesmo internacional.
