Donativos_CMRB_0500Ribeira Brava, 5 de Outubro. -Por ocasião da abertura do ano lectivo 2011/12, a câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava privilegiou uma semana de solidariedade escolar durante a qual foram entregues donativos a todas as escolas e jardins infantis do Município.

Receberam um equipamento desportivo e frango enlatado. Entretanto, com a parceria com a Câmara Municipal de Abrantes, geminada com a da Ribeira Brava, foram distribuídos «kits» escolares aos 204 alunos do 1º ao 6º ano, apadrinhados por cidadãos abrantinos, nas escolas de Calejão, Belém, Morro Brás, Estância de Brás e Covoada.

A distribuição do referido donativo composto por material escolar, suplemento alimentar e equipamento desportivo que contou com a presença do Presidente da Câmara Municipal e do Delegado do Ministério da Educação na ilha, tem como objectivo apoiar, directamente, os alunos do nosso município nas áreas de desporto, alimentação e aprendizagem e, indirectamente, os pais na sua economia doméstica, visando um desenvolvimento integral e harmonioso das nossas crianças.
