Durante a sua visita ao Município da Ribeira Brava, nos dias 9 e 11 de Abril, o Primeiro Ministro de Cabo Verde pode presidir a inauguração da estrada de acesso a Chã de Bote, em Estância de Brás, integrado nas festas da Pascoela, tendo visitado o projecto de dessalinização em Preguiça, o Perímetro irrigado de Campo Preguiça, as obras da estrada Ribeira Brava ao aeroporto, as obras da

barragem de Fajã, a Residência Estudantil já pronta para ser inaugurada e as obras em curso de 10 casas T2 em Chã de Norte, para jovens quadros.
Nessa visita ao Município, o Senhor Primeiro Ministro, que esteve acompanhado da Senhora Ministra das Infra-estruturas e Economia Marítima, Sara Lopes e do Presidente Américo Nascimento, reconheceu a dinâmica da Câmara Municipal e o esforço que tem sido levado a cabo para o desenvolvimento da Ribeira Brava.
