Actividades comemorativas para o Dia do Município já estão estruturadas

A Câmara Municipal já tem estruturada uma lista de actividades comemorativas para assinalar o Dia do Município, que se assinala a 06 de Dezembro. A inauguração da Residência Estudantil, amanhã, marca o início de uma série de inaugurações, sem esquecer as actividades culturais e desportivas, habituais na comemoração da efeméride.
De entre o leque de inaugurações constam o perímetro piloto de empresarialização agrícola do Caleijão e a fábrica de queijo de Belém, dois projectos desenvolvidos em parceria com o Ministério do Desenvolvimento Rural (MDR), a interligação e adução de água Ribeira Brava/Juncalinho, entre outros.
A inauguração da estrada Ribeira Brava/Aeroporto, em parceria com o Ministério das Infraestruturas e Economia Marítima (MIEM), no próximo dia 13, vai ser outro ponto de viragem no desenvolvimento do concelho que certamente vai marcar as festas do município este ano.
Na esfera da cultura, o II Fórum Nacional da Cultura, com destaque para o Carnaval, será o ponto alto nas actividades para assinalar o dia de São Nicolau e da Ribeira Brava. Os artistas locais vão ter a sua devida valorização e participação nas festas com espectáculos de grupos musicais, teatrais e de dança tradicional.
Os violinistas naturais da Ribeira Brava vão desfilar numa gala própria e os alunos da escola de música vão demonstrar as suas capacidades com actuação pública.
Quanto ao desporto, a realização das actividades alusivas ao Dia do Desporto Cabo-Verdiano, em Novembro, vai ser a “cereja em cima do bolo”, com provas nacionais de ciclismo e atletismo.
O futebol, a ginástica nas modalidades de acrobacia e aeróbica, a tradicional Gala do Desporto, juntam-se ao conjunto de actividades desportivas que a autarquia já preparou para o Dia do Município, neste ano de 2012.
