Estrada Ribeira Brava /Aeroporto de Preguiça - Um Sonho Concretizado

A nova estrada que liga Ribeira Brava ao Aeroporto da Preguiça é um sonho concretizado que veio trazer nova estética à cidade, para além de incrementar o crescimento económico do município.
Tida por todos como uma obra que veio dignificar o município, a estrada foi inaugurada pelo Primeiro-Ministro, José Maria Neves neste fim-de-semana.
Depois de descerrada a primeira placa da nova via, na rotunda do Aeroporto, seguiu-se um desfile de carros onde se pôde ver algumas dezenas de viaturas que embelezaram o cortejo.
A segunda placa foi descerrada no largo de Jon Bol, onde os governantes discursaram perante os municípes que não quiseram perder esta data tão importante.
Para o presidente da Câmara Municipal, Américo Nascimento a inauguração da estrada asfaltada é a concretização de um sonho idealizado há quatro anos, em 2008.
“A todos os que apoiaram esta ideia, principalmente ao Governo que financiou e executou a obra, um especial obrigado”, agradeceu, emocionado o edil ribeira-bravense.
O primeiro-Ministro, por sua vez, destacou a dinâmica que a estrada vai trazer às potencialidades de negócio, principalmente a nível do agro-negócio e do turismo, tendo em conta que vai contribuir para o escoamento mais eficiente de pessoas e de bens.
Numa altura em que já estão a decorrer as actividades comemorativas do Dia do Município, esta é com certeza um presente que veio tornar mais bela esta que é uma das cidades mais bonitas do país, Ribeira Brava.
