Telecentro de Talho

A zona do Talho, no concelho da Ribeira Brava, já tem o seu telecentro a funcionar. O espaço foi inaugurado hoje pelo edil, Américo Nascimento, marcando assim mais uma inauguração enquadrada nas festas do município, que se assinala no próximo dia 06 de Dezembro.
O telecentro vai ser gerido pelo Grupo Solidário para o Desenvolvimento Social (GSDS), formado por jovens da localidade e que têm na forja um conjunto de projectos para dinamizar o espaço.
Para além de proporcionar à população o acesso à internet, o GSDS pretende fazer do Telecentro um espaço multi-usos, dotando-o de condições para que sirva de sala de estudos, e também de equipamentos para a projecção de filmes e para formações, assim como de tecnologias que permitam chamadas telefónicas, nacionais e internacionais, via internet.
O presidente da Câmara Municipal felicitou os jovens pelos projectos que têm reservado para o local e incentivou-os a não ficarem pelas ideias.
“A Câmara Municipal é e será sempre uma parceira. No entanto, enquanto jovens devem estar na linha da frente sempre a lutar pela concretização dos vossos projectos “, recomendou Américo Nascimento.
O autarca aproveitou também para pedir aos jovens que façam um uso responsável do Telecentro que, embora ainda precisa de mais equipamentos, já tem o mínimo necessário para funcionar e colmatar as necessidades da população, principalmente dos jovens e dos estudantes.
