Natal dos Idosos acontece na próxima sexta-feira

A Câmara Municipal está a promover o Natal dos Idosos para cerca de 400 idosos carenciados de todo o município com um almoço seguido de tarde animada e lanche, tudo para que os anciãos tenham momentos de alegria e conforto nesta quadra festiva.

 


A iniciativa, levada a cabo em parceria com o Centro de Desenvolvimento Social (CDS), começa com uma missa na Capela do Seminário, seguido de almoço.


A vereadora da Acção Social, Tánia Neves, explicou que, à semelhança dos anos anteriores, os idosos vão poder desfrutar de momentos de descontração com um baile e o dia termina com um lanche.


Para que esta ideia seja concretizada, a Câmara Municipal conta com o apoio de algumas casas comerciais e também de privados, principalmente agricultores e criadores de gado que desprendidamente estão a doar géneros alimentícios, um gesto que Tánia Neves faz questão de enaltecer e agradecer.


A vereadora reforça ainda que todas as ajudas são bem-vindas pelo que apela à sensibilidade de todos para que os idosos, que já deram o seu contributo para o desenvolvimento da nossa sociedade, tenham momentos de conforto e alegria nesta quadra festiva.

Até o dia 21 quem quiser contribuir pode fazê-lo entregando o seu contributo no CDS, no prédio do ginásio, no largo do Centro de Saúde da Ribeira Brava, e também ajudar durante o convívio, na próxima sexta-feira.
