ONG holandesa quer apoiar Ribeira Brava a nível social

Uma delegação da organização não-governamental holandesa CIM esteve de visita ao concelho da Ribeira Brava a fim de fazer um reconhecimento no terreno das necessidades do concelho com o intuito de vir a apoiar o município em a nível social, principalmente na área da saúde.

Depois de um encontro com o presidente da Câmara, Américo Nascimento, a delegação seguiu para o centro de saúde da Ribeira Brava onde, o delegado de Saúde, Orlando Andrade indicou alguns dos materiais de que o centro carece.


Esta foi uma primeira visita para abrir caminho para uma possível cooperação entre a ONG e o município da Ribeira Brava.


A CIM funciona com casas de idosos e pretende dar apoio ao nosso país. Daí a delegação estar a visitar as ilha de Santiago, Santo Antão, São Vicente e São Nicolau.
