Ribeira Brava acolhe Seminário em Medicina Tradicional

Ribeira brava vai acolher, a partir de hoje até o dia 23, um seminário em medicina tradicional organizado pela associação para a cooperação e desenvolvimento, a morabeza com o objectivo de divulgar aquilo que se fez e se faz em São Nicolau e no país a nível de medicina tradicional.
Por outro lado, pretende-se com este fórum homenagear grandes nomes como Nhô Antone Julinhe e Nhô Candinhe, dois homens já falecidos mas muito conhecidos pelas suas façanhas a nível da medicina tradicional e cujos nomes mereceram ser título de um livro sobre a matéria escrito por Antónia Pimentel e Lourenço Gomes.
A homenagem estende-se também, como afirmou Antónia Pimentel, que trabalha na associação Morabeza, aos que ainda se dedicam, no anonimato, a ajudar os que precisam.
A Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava ciente da importância da divulgação desta prática medicinal alternativa está a apoiar a iniciativa que tem também a parceria da universidade francesa de medicina chinesa, a FLETC, que durante o seminário vai ter representantes que juntamente com especialistas de medicina alternativa vão fazer demonstrações práticas.
Vão participar no seminário profissionais da saúde e especialistas em medicina tradicional, mostrando que é possível usar estas duas vias, a convencional e a alternativa, para o bem comum.
