Cantor João Eugénio abre Altantic Music Expo

O cantor ribeira-bravense, João Eugénio é o artista selecionado para abrir o Altantic Music Expo que começa hoje na cidade da Praia.
Durante 35 minutos o cantor vai estar em palco no concerto de abertura do evento que vai reunir durante três dias todos as agentes do panorama musical do país, para além de contar com a presença de convidados e participantes internacionais.
João Eugénio diz que está ciente de que esse não será um palco qualquer, pois nele vão estar entidades nacionais e internacionais, pelo que é preciso ter alguma serenidade para uma boa performance.
No próximo mês de Maio o cantor vai participar no festival Back to The Roots, no EUA juntamente com o grupo &-Banda, que aliás vai estar também no AME, representantes da Câmara Municipal e também dos principais grupos de Carnaval.
O artista sente-se satisfeito com a valorização do seu trabalho que, pelo rumo que está a tomar, mostra que está a fazer um bom trabalho e com o devido reconhecimento do público e de várias entidades.
João Eugénio esteve há poucos dias na Academia Jotamonte, na ilha de São Vicente para apresentação do seu trabalho discográfico “Encontro Melodia”.
O AME vai trazer a este país mais de cem profissionais estrangeiros, para além de 40 experts. À parte, uma delegação brasileira que vem com mais de 40 pessoas demonstrando uma forte aposta do Brasil no AME.
O Atlantic Music Expo Cabo Verde promete mudar para sempre a perspectiva que os músicos, produtores, agentes, distribuidores e managers cabo-verdianos têm da música.
Durante três dias vão poder assistir a 20 showcases (concertos de curta duração, 30 – 40 minutos, para profissionais e público) com 10 artistas nacionais e 10 internacionais, quatro workshops e cerca de 10 concertos. E ainda visitar um showroom de instrumentos de corda e percussão, equipamentos e acessórios musicais (estúdios de gravação, cabos, microfones) e uma zona de stands de serviços públicos e privados ligados à música.
