O presidente da Câmara Municipal e o vereador do pelouro da Cultura estiveram reunidos com os representantes dos principais grupos carnavalescos do município e também com os elementos do grupo musical &Banda que vão participar no festival “Back To The Roots”, para prepararem a viagem para os Estados Unidos da América.
Num encontro que durou cerca de hora e meia, foram alinhavados os detalhes para que a participação da delegação da Ribeira Brava no certame corra da melhor forma.
Neste sentido foram acertadas as datas para que cada grupo faça os pedidos de visto e respectiva marcação de viagem. Por outro lado, ficou expressa a necessidade de se estabelecerem contactos, atempadamente, com familiares ou amigos que vão receber os elementos da delegação.
Não menos importante, foi trazida à ocasião as estratégias para que seja tirado o maior proveito da participação dos grupos de Carnaval e também do grupo musical no festival “Back To The Roots” de forma a conseguirem arrecadar fundos que ajudem no seu orçamento, mas também alguns subsídios que permitam enriquecer o trabalho que têm vindo a apresentar.
Isto porque, mais do que uma feira, o certame deve ser visto como uma oportunidade de negócio será ponto de cruzamento de interesses de várias procedências, de cabo verde, Portugal, Caraíbas e Estados Unidos.
Esta é a II edição da feira Back To The Roots que este ano vai reunir, nos dias 25 e 26 de Maio, operadores turísticos, companhias aéreas, agências de viagens, cadeias de hotéis, entre outros com o intuito de conhecerem oportunidades de negócios em vários mercados e encontrar operadores interessados em parcerias.
Para isso, os participantes vão poder ter um meeting point, como local privilegiado para a troca de ideias, bem como a oportunidade de apresentação de suas empresas, produtos e serviços.
Igualmente, vão ser realizados workshops que constituirão momentos ímpares da feira por serem espaços de descoberta de oportunidades de negócios e de investimentos nos mercados americano, cabo-verdiano, caribenho, português, entre outros e novas oportunidades de negócio.
De forma a conseguirem alcançar estes resultados, Américo Nascimento fez saber que existe a possibilidade de a delegação ter um stand com informações e materiais disponíveis aos participantes e visitantes do evento.
De referir que esta deslocação da delegação da Ribeira Brava enquadra-se na Agenda Cultural da Câmara Municipal e conta com o apoio do Ministério da Cultura e também da Transportadora Aérea de Cabo Verde (TACV).
