Câmara Municipal e Fundação João Lopes assinam protocolo de cooperação

A Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava e a Fundação João Lopes assinaram esta sexta-feira um protocolo de cooperação de âmbito cultural com o intuito de dinamizar a cultura do município.
A Fundação João Lopes foi criada com as seguintes finalidades: desenvolver acções de ordem social, cultural, científica, educativa, artística e filantrópica; incrementar a investigação e promover a divulgação das diversas vertentes do contexto sociocultural cabo-verdiano; impulsionar uma dinâmica do conhecimento, valorização e promoção de Cabo Verde e, ainda, investigar, promover estudos, activar, direccionar e organizar acções e eventos de índole cultural que tenham por meta o melhor conhecimento e a dinamização das comunidades.
E será nessa base que o protocolo de colaboração será um instrumento dinamizador na cultura do município da Ribeira Brava que ajudará sobremaneira a edilidade a cumprir aquela que é a sua Agenda Cultural para este ano de 2013, assim como dos anos vindouros.
Entre outras valências desta colaboração podemos enumerar algumas como: contribuir para a dignificação e promoção das referências históricas que povoam a memória cultural da Cidade Vila Ribeira Brava, nomeadamente, o Poeta José Lopes, Dr. Júlio José Dias, o Deão Francisco Ferreira da Silva, os cónegos António de Oliveira Bouças e António da Costa Teixeira, João Lopes, Baltazar Lopes, propondo, para tanto, formas que sejam consentâneas e actos que sejam considerados condignos, servindo também, dinamicamente, o Turismo Cultural no Município;
A Fundação João Lopes, em sintonia e intercolaboração com a Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava, envidará esforços para a reconstituição e classificação de sítios e monumentos históricos, nomeadamente, Porto Lapa, Preguiça, Calejão e Fajã e sua elevação a Património local e/ou nacional.
Para além da assinatura do protocolo, a ocasião serviu para fazer a apresentação da Fundação e da delegação que a representará em São Nicolau.
Por outro lado foram proferidas duas palestras sobre a Gestão de Sítios Históricos – Medida de Salvaguarda e Sustentabilidade Económica de São Nicolau – Cultura e Património – Contribuição para o Desenvolvimento Local.
No rol de entidades esteve presente o presidente da Assembleia Nacional, Basílio Mosso Ramos, que esteve em São Nicolau para assistir às festas de São Pedro a convite do edil ribeira-bravense, Américo Nascimento.
