Grupos de tamboreiros da Ribeira Brava recebem tambores, fruto da cooperação com CM

Representantes dos grupos de tamboreiros Kassav 2 e Campinho e Arredores receberam pelas mãos do presidente da Câmara Municipal graças a um protocolo com a edilidade que pretende a confecção de 10 tambores.

Foi no Dia de São Pedro que foi feita a entrega simbólica dos tambores aos representantes dos dois grupos de tamboreiros, aproveitando as actividades para assinalar esta festa popular.

No âmbito do protocolo assinado com a Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava, cada um dos grupos confeccionou cinco tambores com apoio financeiro da autarquia, cumprindo deste modo um item da Agenda Cultural da edilidade para este ano de 2013.

O objectivo é que estes grupos estejam devidamente equipados nas festas de romaria e em troca comprometem-se a participar nas festas de Santo Antonio, São João, São Pedro e também na feira Agro-Cultural onde a presença de tamboreiros e coladeiras é imprescindível.

Outrossim, os grupos deverão fomentar o gosto pela tradição nos mais novos com a formação de crianças tanto na confecção como no “tocá tambor”.

Até o final do mandato, o repto é que sejam confeccionados 50 tambores.
