Emigrantes satisfeitos com investimentos no município

Os emigrantes do município da Ribeira Brava estão satisfeitos com os investimentos no concelho e felicitam os governos centrais e locais pelos projectos desenvolvidos e a desenvolver na Ribeira Brava.
Nas comemorações do Dia Municipal do Emigrantes, a Câmara Municipal organizou uma visita a alguns pontos do concelho onde já foram feitas algumas obras e noutros onde ainda estão a decorrer.
Mais de 150 emigrantes puderam ver a nova avenida na zona de Juncalinho, onde há bem pouco tempo foi inaugurada uma praça que serve agora de ponto de encontro da comunidade.
Na mesma ocasião, foram informados na abdução de água Ribeira Brava/Juncalinho, um projecto que numa extensão de 22 quilómetros já é uma realidade.
Depois de Juncalinho a comitiva seguiu para Chã de Norte onde puderam visitar o complexo habitacional Casa para Todos e as moradias construídas pela Câmara Municipal. Ambas as infra-estruturas receberam nota positiva e houve quem mostrasse interesse em adquirir as moradias T2 construídas pela autarquia.
O ponto alto da visita foi sem dúvida a visita ao novo terminal de passageiros no aeródromo da Preguiça.
Ansiosos por ver de perto esta obra há muito esperada, os emigrantes ouviram atentamente as explicações do director de engenharias e infra-estruturas da ASA, Nuno Santos, que deu a conhecer as valências do terminal.
Satisfeitos por verem a sua vida facilitada à chegada na sua terra natal os emigrantes dizem que é dos melhores projectos desenvolvidos no município e na ilha.
Antes do habitual almoço do Dia do Emigrantes, que teve o patrocínio da ASA, foi a vez de uma visita às obras da barragem de Banca Furada. Surpresos com a dimensão da obra, esses munícipes deram nota positiva ao desemprenho do executivo camarário e o governo que estão a dar mostras de que Ribeira Brava e São Nicolau não estão esquecidas.
O dia terminou com um almoço em Queimadas ao sabor de pratos tradicionais que fizeram as delícias dos migrantes.
Mais um dia bem passado na companhia daqueles que estão fora do seu país mas que merecem todo o nosso apoio porque afinal também fazem parte deste torrão.
