Grupos de Carnaval já receberam 1ª tranche do apoio da CMRB

Os três grupos oficiais de Carnaval já receberam a primeira tranche do montante que a autarquia disponibilizou para ajudar nos preparativos para que possam sair à rua no próximo mês de Março.
Foi disponibilizado para cada grupo o total de 220 mil escudos e as direcções de Estrela Azul, Copa Cabana e Brilho da zona já receberam cada um 100 mil de modo a dar continuidade aos trabalhos nos diferentes estaleiros.
Para além do montante disponibilizado pela Câmara Municipal, a edilidade tem vindo, à semelhança de anos anteriores, à procura de financiamento e apoios junto de empresas e instituições, destacando o Ministério da Cultura que tem dado suporte aos grupos a nível de kit quer de batucada quer de estaleiros.
A envolvência da edilidade ribeira-bravense no Carnaval não tem sido apenas a nível de apoio aos grupos mas de promoção, de uma forma geral, do Carnaval. Um exemplo disso foi um encontro realizado recentemente com comerciantes e donos de pensões no sentido de se prepararem para a movimentação que se avizinha nesta cidade onde as festas do Rei Momo ganham um brilho diferente e especial.
Encontros com as direcções dos grupos também têm sido realizados desde o mês de Novembro do ano passado, sendo o primeiro resultado a preparação dos estaleiros com a limpeza dos espaços e transporte de material necessário para o seu funcionamento.
E para que o Carnaval, a nível nacional, continue a ter a marca de São Nicolau, a Câmara Municipal poe à disposição dos grupos um prémio de pontualidade no sentido de incentivar a mudança de mentalidade quanto aos atrasos nos desfiles que, infelizmente, tem sido o calcanhar de Aquiles desta manifestação cultural.
