Américo Nascimento reforça cooperação e procura novas parcerias no Luxemburgo

O presidente da Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava chega esta sexta-feira, 23, no Luxemburgo para uma visita de uma semana para estabelecer contactos visando parcerias futuras com várias Câmaras Municipais e Organizações Não-Governamentais daquele país, bem como para reforçar a cooperação com instituições e organizações da sociedade civil.


Nesses encontros o presidente vai aproveitar para agraciar os parceiros da edilidade com Diplomas de Reconhecimento como forma de agradecimento pelo contributo dado no desenvolvimento do município.
Assim, serão homenageadas duas ONG luxemburguesas, sendo o Comité Spencer e a Cap Vert Espoir et Développment que têm apoiado o concelho da Ribeira Brava a vários níveis.
Recorde-se que o Comité Spencer tem vindo a ajudar os ribeira-bravenses com equipamentos e mobiliários escolares, e equipamentos informáticos para apetrechar escolas e instituições do território municipal.
Já a Cap Vert Espoir et Développment foi a parceira na montagem da pequena central fotovoltaica do carriçal, instalada no ano passado e que desde então tem permitido ter energia eléctrica no jardim infantil, na escola primária, na Unidade Sanitária de Base (USB) e o Centro Social a partir das energias renováveis.
A Câmara Municipal de Feulen, com a qual Ribeira Brava tem parceria desde 2011, e a Embaixada de Cabo Verde no Luxemburgo também vão ser agraciadas com Diplomas de reconhecimento.
O presidente também vai participar no programa Morabeza da Rádio Latina.
