O Estádio Municipal Dideus pode vir a ter um novo granulado de borracha a partir do mês de Julho graças a uma parceria entre as Câmara Municipais de Abrantes e da Ribeira Brava, depois da visita do edil Américo nascimento a esse município português.
Numa passagem rápida pelas terras lusas o presidente da Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava teve encontros de trabalho com a equipa camararia de Abrantes, chefiada por Maria do Ceu Albuquerque onde foram tratadas várias questões no âmbito da geminação entre as duas autarquias.
A grande novidade é que o actual relvado artificial do Estádio Dideus poderá vir a ser substituído ainda no mês de Julho próximo, dando outra qualidade à prática desportiva naquele empreendimento.
“Desse encontro ficou a possibilidade de a Câmara Municipal de Abrantes nos apoiar com a aquisição do granulado de borracha e fica por conta da edilidade ribeira-bravense os custos do transporte e a realização dos trabalhos no estádio”, assegurou Américo Nascimento.
A substituição do actual granulado é uma realização que a autarquia almeja há já algum tempo, já que o mesmo ficou bastante degradado depois das chuvas de 2009 que deixaram um rasto de destruição no município.
Outro assunto abordado da reunião em Abrantes foi a área da Educação, tendo sido discutidos aspectos relacionados com bolsas de estudos aos alunos do município da Ribeira Brava para o próximo ano lectivo 2014/2015 e também o programa de apadrinhamento de alunos do EBI, no âmbito da geminação entre os dois municípios.
De Portugal, Américo Nascimento seguiu para o Luxemburgo onde teve uma semana intensa de trabalhos para agradecer e reforçar as acções de cooperação com vários parceiros e também estabelecer novas relações de cooperação com outras instituições e algumas ONG desse país europeu.
