Resultados da VI Edição da Feira Agro-Cultural fazem almejar evento de nível nacional

O sucesso da VI Edição da Feira-Agro-Cultural, que decorreu nos dias 18 e 19 de Julho, incentiva a Câmara Municipal a querer fazer do evento um acontecimento de proporção nacional sempre com consciência de que a organização e a qualidade são pontos a melhorar a cada edição.

 


Durante os dois dias, sob o lema Mais e Melhor Agricultura, a Ribeira de Passagem recebeu um grande número de visitantes que não quiseram perder a oportunidade de desfrutar o que de melhor se faz a nível do agro-negócio, do artesanato e da cultura.
O autarca Américo Nascimento, num balanço do certame, diz que é praticamente unanime a opinião de que a feira foi um sucesso que se traduz na grande afluência de pessoas ao local, aos esforços para se organizar da melhor forma este evento que já ganhou raízes.
“A feira é hoje um espaço de excelência de exposição e venda de produtos de qualidade e oportunidade de mostrar a grande revolução que está a acontecer na agricultura, nas áreas conexas e na valorização da nossa cultura”, destacou o presidente.
Para corroborar as palavras de Américo Nascimento, nos dois dias mostrou-se as melhores capacidades do município em termos de agricultura, pecuária e transformação de produtos destes dois sectores, mas também a nível da culinária tradicional, confecção de farinha de mandioca e da cultura (música, dança, teatro, Carnaval, tôca tambor, jogos tradicionais, etc).
Para o ano, na sétima edição, o que se quer é aumentar a qualidade, quer a nível organizacional, quer a nível de qualidade e diversidade de produtos, com maior participação da ilha bem como transformar a feira num evento de carácter nacional.
