VI Gala do Desporto reúne melhores da época desportiva 2013/2014

A Gala do Desporto, desta feita a edição VI, reuniu este domingo, dia do Desporto Cabo-verdiano, os melhores da época desportiva 2013/2014 mostrando a força e a importância que o Desporto tem no município numa cerimónia carregada de emoções.

 


Foram seis as categorias distinguidas incluindo a de reconhecimento a associações, instituições e pessoas que têm contribuído para a elevação do desporto no concelho.
Os atletas do Andebol, do Voleibol, do Atletismo, do Futebol e do Basquetebol, sendo esta modalidade a grande novidade deste ano, viram o seu esforço recompensado, num evento que contou com a preciosa colaboração das associações desportivas e também do CEJ na nomeação dos homenageados.
Algumas caras já habituais nessa gala e outras caras novas subiram ao palco para receberem o seu prémio. A muitos as palavras ate faltaram quando a emoção tomou conta.
Para além destas modalidades foram distinguidas a Associação de Atletismo, que conseguiu firmar como uma associação legal e juridicamente reconhecida, os instrutores de ginástica aeróbica Teles Pereira e Edimerson Fortes, o colectivo da RTRB e o colaborador Benvindo Almeida bem como o CEJ da Ribeira Brava que mais um ano promoveu campeonatos vários, com destaque para a introdução do Basquetebol
Aliada a entrega de prémios, houve momento para dança, demonstração de ginástica e música nas vozes de Nelson roque, acompanhado de Dery e de Leontina Fortes e João Pereira (Djon) que deliciaram o público que aderiu em massa ao evento.
