A requalificação da via de acesso Água das Patas/Cachaço foi inaugurada esta quinta-feira, 27, e o acto foi assinalado com uma caminhada ecológica desde o Cachaço até a zona de Água das Patas.

 


Depois do descerramento da placa com direito a foguete, foi iniciada a caminhada por e pequenos e graúdos que tiveram o tempo agradável do vale a seu favor.
A via agora com uma nova cara depois do rasto de destruição deixado pelas chuvas de 2009 começou a ser reparada em Janeiro deste ano e foi feita a reparação do piso e também dos muros que foram derrubados.
Outro ganho nesta via muito utilizada pela população é a sinalização indicando tanto a via de Cachaço como a de Água das Patas bem como do mítico Monte “Cadasor” (casamenteiro em português) que reza a lenda que quem quer saber se vai casar ou não lança uma pedra para cima do monte.
Caso a pedra lá fique é porque vai ter a sorte de contrair o matrimónio, caso contrário terá de se reforçar as preces para ver o seu sonho realizado.
De agora em diante fica mais fácil aos turistas que, sozinhos, já podem ir ao Monte gordo de forma mais fácil.
