A zona de Fajã já tem uma sala de Atendimento da Polícia Nacional, uma iniciativa da Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava que cedeu o espaço na Delegação Municipal de modo a permitir que a segurança seja aumentada.

 


A instalação da sala de atendimento da Polícia Nacional é uma reivindicação antiga da população que vai ter, a partir de agora uma presença mais assídua das autoridades no vale.
No acto de inauguração que aconteceu na sexta-feira, o presidente explicou que embora este não seja uma assunto de competência directa da Câmara Municipal, a edilidade quer reforçar o processo de paz social e de segurança em todo o município e Fajã não é excepção.
O comandante da esquadra da Ribeira Brava, Estevão Tavares frisou que este gesto da autarquia simboliza a boa colaboração com a Polícia Nacional e para que o policiamento de proximidade seja mais profícua pediu também a colaboração dos moradores para melhorar a segurança no vale.
Também garantiu que as autoridades tudo vão fazer para que a sua função seja desempenhada da melhor forma possível.
