Câmara Municipal inteira-se dos preparativos para o Carnaval 2015

Com o intuito de se inteirar dos preparativos do Carnaval deste ano, o Presidente da Câmara Municipal, acompanhado do Vereador da Cultura, Carlos Barbosa, tem vindo a reunir-se, de forma separada, com os grupos oficiais do Carnaval no Município.
Os encontros tiverem lugar nos dias 05, 06 e 08 do corrente e pôde-se apurar em que ritmo estão os preparativos para as festas do Rei Momo e que este ano decorrerá nos dias 14, 15 e 18 de Fevereiro.
Daquilo que se ouviu dos grupos é que está cada vez mais difícil mobilizar recursos financeiros, mas que o Carnaval sairá às ruas de Ribeira Brava porque essa grande manifestação é do povo e está no “sangue” dos saonicolauenses.
Por outro lado, os encontros foram oportunidade para, mais uma vez, a edilidade reforçar a sua total disponibilidade de, enquanto parceira da maior manifestação cultural do Município, envidar esforços na mobilização de recursos para que o Carnaval 2015 continue a ter o brilho que lhe é característico e a imagem que já granjeou a nível da ilha e do país.
Já é hábito, por parte da Câmara Municipal, todos os anos disponibilizar apoio financeiro aos grupos oficiais e não só, e também apoiar na procura de parceiros para que o Carnaval seja cada vez mais um ex-libris do concelho e da ilha.
