Ribeira Brava quer encetar cooperação com Angola

O município da Ribeira Brava espera poder ter acções concretas de cooperação com Angola, depois da visita da embaixadora daquele país ao município, durante dois dias.
O convite partiu do autarca que fez questão de mostrar os principais pontos de interesse do território municipal mas também de dar a conhecer importantes projectos realizados no concelho e outros ainda por realizar.
Para o presidente foi com satisfação que recebeu a embaixadora e sua delegação, expressando-se através das seguintes palavras:
“É com satisfação saber que, enquanto representante de um país amigo que é Angola, se interessou em conhecer a realidade do nosso município e auguro que futuramente acções concretas possam existir entre Angola e Ribeira Brava”.
Em Cabo Verde a representar o país há pouco mais de três anos, a embaixadora da República de Angola, Josefa Cruz, disse que está a conhecer o país de Santo Antão à Brava, ao mesmo tempo que garantiu que a sua visita não só é para conhecer como mas também para incentivar a visita de empresários privados no sentido de conhecerem as potencialidades do município e que lhes possam interessar.
No final da visita a embaixadora disse que saiu com um ideia geral daquilo que já foi feito pelo presidente e sua equipa bem como daquilo que ainda está na forja, salientando que há todo o interesse que a cooperação entre os dois países se desenvolva cada vez mais, sempre com melhores resultados para os dois Estados.
