Ribeira Brava, 27 Fev - O Presidente da Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava reuniu, ontem, no salão Nobre da Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava, a imprensa para falar da sua mais recente visita à Capital do País.Segundo o Edil, a visita foi mais do que satisfatória, na medida que teve vários encontros de trabalhos e estes se traduzem em grandes ganhos para o Município e sua economia.

 

Destaca-se o encontro com a Representante das Nações Unidas, sobre o projecto de dessalinização. Neste Momento as Nações Unidas estão a analisar o concurso lançado pela Câmara Municipal para a aquisição da Dessalinizadora.Um grande feito foi conseguido com a Direcção-geral dos Serviços do Notariado, onde ficou assente que, a partir do mês de Fevereiro, mensalmente, um notário deslocará à ilha de forma a agilizar os processos notariais.  

 

Já com a direcção-geral dos Serviços Penitenciários e Reinserção Social ficou assente a construção de uma nova infra-estrutura prisional em parceria com a Câmara Municipal;Igualmente, com o Ministério das Infraesturas, Transporte e Telecomunicações, a Edilidade, manifestou a sua satisfação com a Garantia desse Ministério em iniciar brevemente, a reconstrução da estrada Vila Ribeira Brava-Tarrafal, o arranque a 1 de Fevereiro, das obras do Aerogare da Preguiça, bem como o inicio da estrada Vila -Aeroporto, em meados de Março. 

 

Ainda, para maior satisfação das gentes de Covoada arranca, em breve, um estudo para a estrada de acesso a essa localidade, que deverá passar pela projecção e construção de um Túnel do lado de Morro Homem e garantiu, também, a continuação dos trabalhos na Estrada de Carriçal.  

 

O Presidente aproveitou ainda para falar da sua satisfação em receber no Município pela primeira vez, a Embaixadora dos Estados Unidos da América, de 27 a 29 do corrente.
