Ribeira Brava, 23 Fev - Iniciou ontem, dia 22 de Fevereiro, no Centro de Formação do Calejão, a primeira formação de capacitação de pedreiros em S. Nicolau, uma parceria entre a Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava e CRP (Comissão regional de Parceiros) de S. Nicolau, e o acto de abertura contou com a presença do presidente da Câmara Municipal, Dr. Américo Nascimento.

A formação de capacitação de pedreiros, com uma carga horária de 250 horas, divide-se em 3 fases de modo a abranger os jovens de todas as localidades do município, e destina-se aos jovens sem qualificação e interessados em desenvolver a profissão de pedreiro e/ou jovens com experiência e que querem aprofundar os seus conhecimentos nessa área.

A carência de profissões especializadas e qualificadas na área de construção civil tem sido uma lacuna no seio dos operários do Município, pelo que, esta formação surge no sentido de colmatar positivamente uma brecha de carácter técnico na classe operária do Município, melhorando a oferta de recursos humanos às necessidades do Município, contribuindo para a diminuição da taxa de desemprego e ao mesmo tempo favorecer o desenvolvimento económico.

Nesta primeira fase da formação, participa jovens das localidades de Carriçal, Juncalinho, Morro Brás, Belém, Calejão, Preguiça e Morro, e realiza-se no Centro Formação do Calejão e Estaleiros da Câmara Municipal em Mormorial.
