Artesãos do concelho têm loja própria para exporem os seus trabalhos

A Câmara Municipal entregou esta terça-feira uma loja no mercado municipal aos artesãos como forma de ajudar na divulgação e promoção dos seus produtos ao mesmo tempo que vai proporcionar uma forma de rendimento às famílias, principalmente aquelas em que as mulheres são as chefes.
Com um contrato de seis meses, a exploração do espaço vai ser gratuita e, por ora, quatro artesãs ter os seus produtos expostos, mas o objectivo é alargar o uso da loja para todos aqueles que dedicam a esta área.
No acto de entrega da loja, o presidente exortou que é preciso fazer um trabalho de qualidade e que sejam os artesãos, os interessados directos, a fazerem a divulgação dos produtos ainda que boca a boca, principalmente junto dos turistas.
A Câmara Municipal ciente da importância que o artesanato assume no panorama cultural, enquadrou, estrategicamente, na sua agenda cultural esta e outras actividades que visem explorar a riqueza cultural do município que é muito diversificada, mas pouco vivificada, dinamizada e mormente explorada para o benefício dos munícipes.
Para as artesãs esta é a oportunidade que faltava para dignificar e dar a conhecer o seu trabalho, pois quem visita o município ou quem quiser adquirir um produto genuíno de Ribeira Brava já o pode fazer em lugar próprio e sem muitas dificuldades.
E foi assim que num acto simbólico e de forma desprendida que a autarquia está a contribuir para ajudar a fomentar o auto-emprego e o sustento de várias famílias e quem fica a ganhar é o município da Ribeira Brava.
