Américo Nascimento faz balanço positivo do primeiro ano de mandato

No balanço do primeiro ano do presente mandato, Américo Nascimento garante que a autarquia está a honrar os seus compromissos apesar dos tempos difíceis e destacou as principais realizações destes doze meses.
Foi no dia 10 de Agosto do ano 2012 que a equipa camarária foi empossada e assumia o desafio de conduzir os destinos do Município da Ribeira Brava até 2016 depois de os ribeira-bravenses assim decidiram perante o voto livre nas urnas, no dia 01 de Julho de 2012.
Volvidos doze meses e num contexto de redobradas exigências, de grandes dificuldades e de muitas incertezas, continuamos a trabalhar, com olhos postos no futuro e com determinação, por forma a vencer os obstáculos.
“Não tem sido tarefa fácil e não vai sê-lo no futuro. Todavia, temos que ser capazes, juntos com os parceiros e principalmente com os munícipes, de vencer os desafios e de encontrar soluções para continuarmos a caminhar rumo ao desenvolvimento, realizando os nossos sonhos e o bem comum, apesar do panorama difícil, a nível internacional, nacional e local”, assegurou o presidente.
Para Américo Nascimento, não obstante a escassez de recursos financeiros resultante da conjuntura actual, esta autarquia continua a honrar os seus compromissos e a realizar obras.
Como é habitual, as obras acabam por ter maior visibilidade, é de se destacar a criatividade desta edilidade em assumir de forma arrojada a aposta na cultura, criando uma agenda cultural que vem sendo concretizada de forma muito satisfatória, dando um outro nível organizacional nesse domínio, sendo o ano 2013 considerado o ano zero para o alavancar da cultura como verdadeiro factor de desenvolvimento do Município da Ribeira Brava.
E neste sentido, nada mais pertinente do que aproveitar o momento para felicitar a Leontina Fortes, natural deste Município que, com grande mérito, venceu o concurso nacional Talento Strela.
“Esta é uma demonstração inequívoca de que, com abnegação e muito trabalho, podemos vencer nas várias frentes. Parabéns Leontina Fortes!”, felicitou o presidente.
