Serviço Autónomo de Água da Ribeira Brava tem novos estatutos

Ribeira Brava, 18 Maio - A Assembleia Municipal da Ribeira Brava, reunida no dia 17 de Maio corrente, aprovou, por unanimidade, os novos estatutos do Serviço Autónomo de Água da Ribeira Brava. Conforme fundamentação apresentada pelo Presidente da Câmara Municipal, Américo Nascimento, o Serviço sofreu uma profunda transformação: de uma instituição altamente criticada pela população até há menos de 4 anos atrás, passou para uma estrutura com uma melhoria substancial na prestação de serviço à população.
Por outro lado, é notória a grande expansão da rede de água pelas várias localidades o que, associado à instalação, para breve, do projecto da dessalinização, faz com que o Serviço Autónomo de Água tenha a necessidade de novos instrumentos de gestão, como o Plano de Cargos Carreiras e Salários e o Regulamento Interno.
Convém recordar que a Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava tem a água como uma das suas principais preocupações, pretendendo, até o final do mandato, levar esse precioso líquido a 95% das casas do Município.
Programa "CASA PARA TODOS" vai ser realidade no Município da Ribeira Brava

Ribeira Brava, 11 de Maio. - No âmbito do "Programa Casa para Todos", o município da Ribeira Brava foi contemplado com um projecto de 50 unidades habitacionais, a edificar na zona de Chã de Norte, em terrenos cedidos pela Câmara Municipal. Na área do projecto serão edificados 30 habitações da classe A, sendo 15 T2 e 15 T3, 20 habitações da classe B, sendo 10 T2 e 10 T3 e espaço público de lazer e recreação. O projecto engloba ainda a infra-estruturação da área de implantação e a construção de um troço de estrada de acesso ao empreendimento. A obra foi adjudicada ao consórcio Monte Adriano/MTCV.

Ribeira Brava, 06 de Maio. - A convite do Consulado de Cabo Verde em Luxemburgo, o Presidente da Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava, Dr. Américo Nascimento deslocou-se, em serviço, àquele Grão-Ducado. A estada do edil ribeira-bravense em Luxemburgo efectuar-se-á de 4 a 7 do corrente e visa o estabelecimento de contactos importantes com organizações amigas sediadas naquele país e que têm contribuído com donativos para a área social, nomeadamente equipamento escolar (mesas, cadeiras, estantes, secretárias), computadores e ainda cadeiras de rodas entre outros. Durante a visita serão promovidos encontros no sentido de se discutir novos projectos de cooperação e, possivelmente, a criação de condições para a geminação com uma comuna luxemburguesa, amiga da Ribeira Brava.
